AMASS XT90H-F Female Power Connector
AMASS XT90H-F is a female, two-pin power connector designed for soldering wires up to 10AWG. The H version uses a rear cover that covers the solder pads and organizes the wire routing.
The connector is intended primarily for battery cables and repairs and upgrades to installations using the XT90 standard. The manufacturer declares a maximum current of 45A, while the older model's datasheet indicates a peak current of up to 90A.
Who is this connector for?
• I am repairing or making a battery cable terminated with a female XT90H connector
• I already have a matching male XT90H-M connector
• I need a connector for soldering a 10AWG wire
Who is this NOT for?
• I need a complete male and female pair - the product only includes the XT90H-F connector
• I need an anti-spark function - the standard XT90H-F does not have it
• The female design of the XT90H-F is intended for including the battery side
• Maximum declared current 45A, temporarily according to the datasheet up to 90A
• Possibility of soldering the 10AWG
• The rear cover protects the soldering zone and the cable outlet
• Contacts made of gold-plated brass
• PA housing with UL94 V-0 flammability class

Frequently asked questions
Does the XT90H-F fit the XT90H-M?
Yes. The XT90H-F is the female end of the pair, and the XT90H-M is the corresponding male end.
Is this the anti-spark version?
No. The XT90S-F has a spark-reducing feature. The XT90H-F is a standard female connector.
Can the connector be mounted on the battery cable?
Yes. The AMASS documentation recommends using the female connector on the battery side, which reduces the risk of accidentally shorting exposed contacts.
Avifly expert tip: Before soldering, ensure the back cover and heat shrink tubing are already fitted to the cable. Solder each pin separately and allow the housing to cool before soldering the second wire.
