? Modern home installation without energy losses – TechniSat 5/8 Mini Multiswitch
Are you building a house, finishing an apartment or modernizing the TV installation for your family? TechniSwitch 5/8 Mini (0000/3260) from the German brand TechniSat is a professional multiswitch that allows you to combine the signal from one satellite (e.g.
HotBird / Canal+ / Polsat Box) and DVB-T2 terrestrial television and radio, and then divide it into 8 independent reception sockets.
A unique feature of the Mini series is its innovative energy-saving technology: the multiswitch is powered directly from the connected satellite decoders. The device goes into standby mode when the decoders are turned off, reducing power consumption in your home to zero!
? Key advantages of TechniSwitch 5/8 Mini:
• ? Reception for 8 decoders: Provides a full, independent SAT and DVB-T2/FM signal in up to 8 reception points (or 4 two-head decoders with recording).
• ? Innovative energy efficiency: The decoder power supply system eliminates constant power consumption from the mains (the external power supply included in the set supports operation in more difficult installations).
• ? Ultra-compact dimensions: The Mini series fits easily even in small cabinets and teletechnical installation boxes.
⚙️ German precision, shielded housing and no interference
The TechniSwitch 5/8 Mini multiswitch is enclosed in a housing made of the highest quality metal casting, which guarantees excellent shielding and signal protection against external interference (e.g. LTE/5G cellular network transmitters).
The use of advanced electronic systems allows for maintaining an optimal signal level without the risk of overloading the heads in the decoders. The built-in lightning protection connection (grounding output) increases the safety of your entire home entertainment system.

Which satellite LNB do I need to use with this multiswitch? A Quattro LNB (with 4 fixed outputs: V/L, V/H, H/L, H/H) is required for the multiswitch to function properly. Multiswitches do not work with standard Quad or Single LNBs.
How does DVB-T2 terrestrial television work in this device? You connect a terrestrial antenna (or a multiplexer with a radio antenna) to the "Terr" input. The multiswitch combines the satellite and terrestrial signals into one cable running to the room.
A final RTV-SAT socket is used in the room, which splits the signal to the satellite decoder and TV.
Does the multiswitch need to be constantly plugged into a 230V socket? Not always! If the cable distances in the house are moderate and the terrestrial installation is passive, the multiswitch draws power from the enabled decoders.
The included power supply is used in situations requiring power support for the converter.
