Product advantages and features
It is distinguished by increased adhesion.
Thanks to a carefully selected formula, it is highly resistant to sagging.
Universal - ideal for installing ceramic tiles in swimming pools, fountains, on balconies and terraces.
Suitable for installing ceramic, stoneware, stone and glass tiles, as well as mineral wool and polystyrene on concrete, brick, aerated concrete, expanded clay blocks, plasterboards, plasterboards and stable wood-based substrates.
Substrate preparation
The substrate should be clean, compact and free from grease. Any residues of emulsion and oil paints and loose sand grains should be removed with a spatula or a rough cloth. brushes.
Execution
Applying the waterproofing layer. To achieve tightness, use CEKOL ZU-1 single-component sealing mortar or CEKOL ZU-2 two-component sealing mortar. Mortar preparation. Prepare the mortar by pouring 1 kg of powder into 0.23 – 0.25 l of water (4.6 – 5 l of water per 20 kg bag), then mix thoroughly with a low-speed mixer until uniform. Wait approximately 3 minutes and mix thoroughly again. Mortar use-by time: approximately 3 hours.
Applying the adhesive. Apply the adhesive to the prepared substrate using a notched trowel. In the case of heated surfaces, turn off the heating before laying the tiles. It can be turned on at least 7 days after laying the tiles. When gluing highly absorbent tiles and stoneware tiles outdoors, CEKOL Q-4 PLUS should be applied in a continuous layer both to the substrate and to the underside of the tiles, which will significantly increase adhesion. In places exposed to water leakage, apply a waterproofing layer.
Storage
Store in dry rooms, in original packaging.
