Cekol Q3 Max 5 kg Fibrogel Tile Adhesive
Cekol Q3 Max 5 kg Fibrogel tile adhesive allows you to glue stoneware, ceramic, stone and glass tiles, as well as mineral wool, to concrete substrates, bricks, aerated concrete, expanded clay blocks, gypsum boards and blocks, plasterboards, stable wood-based substrates, and steel structures.
The tile adhesive is frost-resistant, waterproof, and highly flexible. Suitable for both exterior and interior use. The product is suitable for heated floors.
Thanks to the double strength of the fiber, you can glue new tiles onto old ones without having to remove them. The mortar can also be used for leveling and filling. Possibility of gluing tiles from the top of the wall.
Product advantages and features
- The product is a flexible, frost- and waterproof adhesive mortar for use indoors and outdoors.
- It is characterized by increased adhesion.
- Thanks to its precisely selected formula, it is highly resistant to sagging, making it possible to glue tiles from the top.
- Universal - for concrete substrates, bricks, aerated concrete, expanded clay blocks, gypsum boards and blocks, plasterboards, stable wood-based substrates and steel structures.
- Thanks to the double strength of the fiber, new tiles can be glued to old ones without the need to break them off.
- Fiber-reinforced.
Substrate preparation
The substrate should be clean, compact, and free of grease. Any residues of emulsion and oil paints, as well as loose sand grains, should be removed with a spatula or a rough brush.
Priming
Highly absorbent substrates should be primed with CEKOL DL-80 deep-penetrating primer.
Execution
Preparing the mortar. Prepare the mortar by pouring 1 kg of powder into 0.22–0.24 l of water (4.4–4.8 l of water per 20 kg bag), and then mix thoroughly with a low-speed mixer until a uniform consistency is achieved. Wait approximately 3 minutes and mix thoroughly again. The mortar should have a working life of approximately 3 hours.
Applying the adhesive. Apply the adhesive to the prepared substrate using a notched trowel. For heated surfaces, turn off the heating before installing the tiles. It can be turned on at least 7 days after the tiles are laid. When gluing outdoors and in order to improve the adhesion of highly absorbent tiles and stoneware tiles, CEKOL Q-3 MAX should be applied in a continuous layer both to the substrate and to the back of the tiles.
Storage
Store in dry rooms, in original packaging.
