Product Details: HEDGEHOG STUDIO ■The bright red D system is the future of drag The monocoque body made a sensational debut with the 18 Exist. The "D System for 18-22" is a drag unit that lives up to that concept with its high rigidity and precision. It comes with a special tool, making installation very easy. It can be with models from the 18 Exist onwards to the latest models, and features excellent corrosion resistance, even in saltwater. The bright red D is a new era drag standard, compatible with Daiwa's LC-ABS (Long Cast-ABS) spools and responding linearly and highly to even slight torque fluctuations from 1lb. ■Target reels 18 Exist / 20 Luvius / 21 Luvius Airity / 21 Presso The 22 Exist principle supports up to the 2500 class. ■Accessories D-system main unit / dedicated bearing / fixing screws / dedicated screwdriver Dedicated washers 0.5mm, 1mm, 2mm / Dedicated springs / Fixing O-rings ■Material/Material D System Main Unit: A7075 Aluminum + Corrosion-Resistant Anodized Treatment Bearings: All stainless steel bearings Drag spring: Corrosion-resistant stainless steel ■Regarding installation This product is a custom part designed with the reel's drag performance as the top priority. Please note that when winding the line onto the spool, it will not be wound perfectly parallel. If uneven winding occurs with the D system, please adjust by adding or removing washers. Functionally, there is no problem even if there is no washer under the bearing. The D system should generally be secured using the upper hole position. Only use the lower hole position if it interferes with the rotor nut. The sister product, the D System for 18 series, can also be attached to the above reels, but for reels like the 20 Luvius/21 Presso, it was necessary to remove the rotor and install a 1mm washer. The D-System 20 series eliminates the need to disassemble the rotor and add washers, as it is fixed to the pre-drilled position of the D-System main body. Only if the uneven winding of the line cannot be resolved by reducing the number of washers, remove the rotor and set the included 0.5-1mm washer on top of the pinion bearing.
