Kishu Nanko Ume Traditional Sour Salty Pickled Plums Additive-Free Plump Large Size 3L4L Thin Skin Produced Wakayama Prefecture 1kg (Shiso Plums)

This is a natural umeboshi pickled only with shiso and natural salt, made from harvested Kishu Nanko plums. The salt content is about 20%, making it a traditional sour and salty, delicious umeboshi. This umeboshi has a refreshing flavor, pickled again with shiso liquid (liquid made by soaking shiso in plum vinegar) and shiso leaves. It offers a different refreshing taste compared to the plain umeboshi. The red shiso used is a blend of homegrown and those produced in Wakayama Prefecture. Kishu Nanko plums are said to be of good quality when the skin is thin, resulting in softer flesh. Larger plums tend to have thinner and softer skins when pickled, but they are also more prone to tearing during shipping. Ingredients: plums, red shiso, pickling ingredients (salt, shiso liquid, red shiso). The color may vary due to the natural ingredients used. Please note that the plums contain pits.
