Ume seafood pickled plums honey reduced salt crushed 1kg (large fruit using fully ripe very soft) special quality Nanko plumslightly sweet flavor 5

Large domestic Kishu Nanko plums are finished as honey-pickled umeboshi using a low-salt method. This is a recommended honey-pickled ume with minor imperfections for those concerned about salt content. With a salt level of 5%, it is not too sweet compared to 3% and not too sour compared to 8%. It can be enjoyed by everyone from children to the elderly and is also recommended as a gourmet item. By adjusting the salt content to 5%, the original flavor of the umeboshi is preserved, allowing you to enjoy its true taste. The mild sweetness of honey and the tartness of the plums create a subtly sweet umeboshi reminiscent of fruity sweets. It pairs well with rice, onigiri, and ochazuke. Unique low-salt method: The common method for making low-salt umeboshi involves quickly soaking them in water or water to remove salt. This process can strip away the original flavors and result in a watery umeboshi when seasoned afterward. Instead, our unique "two-stage seasoning method" gradually reduces the salt content during the aging stage without losing the original flavor of the ume. This allows the seasoning liquid to blend with the natural taste of the plums, resulting in a refreshing low-salt umeboshi that retains its flavor. Reason for imperfections: During the selection of plums or when pickling in barrels, some may have minor blemishes or size variations, making them look less appealing, but the taste is identical to regular products. Reliable contracted farmers produce Kishu Nanko plums with thin skins and plenty of flesh.
