Gong With Wooden Stand - 25cm Greenwash

A suspended metal gong brings a room to attention before it is even struck. The greenwash surface has the look of aged copper, with a warm golden centre and darker, weathered tones across the face. Set in an albasia wood stand with carved dragon-like detail, it is a ritual sound piece for meditation corners, yoga spaces and slow, deliberate moments at home.

The greenwash instrument

The disc hangs freely, so the sound can bloom and fade without being held by the frame.

The green, coppery finish feels aged and atmospheric, more like a found object than a polished ornament.

As with any gong, a gentle strike creates layered overtones rather than one simple, bell-like note.

The visual weight is quiet but strong, making it both an instrument and a focal point for the room.

Carved albasia wood and metal

The gong is made from metal and held in an albasia wood stand. The stand has a dark, weathered finish with pale rubbed highlights that bring out the carved columns and the intertwined creatures along the top rail.

Placement and simple care

Place it on a stable, level surface where the stand can sit fully supported. It suits a meditation space, yoga room, quiet hallway or studio corner where it can be seen as well as heard.

Dust the wood with a soft dry cloth. Keep the metal surface dry, and avoid harsh cleaners that could disturb the greenwash finish.
