Polini air filter / element, Aprilia SR 50 R / SR 50 R Factory (Piaggio engine)

Polini Air Filter Element. Knowledge straight from the racetrack applied to an air filter element for scooters and maxi scooters. An effective, sponge air filter made of flexible polyurethane foam with a mesh polyester base.

It consists of two layers of foam: a blue layer with a very fine porosity of 60 PPI and a black layer with a porosity of 30 PPI. The blue layer filters only smaller dirt particles because it doesn't come into contact with large dust particles that haven't passed the first filtration stage.

The corrugated outer surface allows for high airflow, thus retaining 50% more large dirt particles. The efficiency of these filters, according to the European standard EN779, ranges from G3 to G4. The average efficiency is greater than 90% and over 50% for particles as small as one micron.

It has a higher dust retention capacity. The filter element should be soaked in special oil for sponge filters. The filter element can be regenerated by washing and drying, and then reinstalled. By replacing your original air filter element with a Polini one, you'll improve airflow during intake.

Thanks to its properties, the air is perfectly filtered and purified, the fuel-air mixture is optimized, and the engine becomes more powerful. The Polini air filter element is available for various 50cc scooters and maxi scooters.

The air filter element should be replaced every few thousand kilometers – its condition affects fuel consumption and the scooter's lifespan.

Before purchasing, please compare the shape of the air filter mold with the shape of the element in the photo.
