Polini air filter/insert, 297x210mm, 30/60 PPI (universal, cut-out/cut-out)

Air filter element, sponge - dimensions 297x210mm. High quality. Special sponge for cutting air filter elements. Universal use. Air filter elements should be replaced every few thousand kilometers - their condition affects fuel consumption and engine life. Knowledge straight from the racetrack is incorporated into this air filter element. An effective, sponge air filter made of flexible polyurethane foam with a mesh polyester base. It consists of two layers of foam: a blue layer with a very fine porosity of 60 PPI and a black layer with a porosity of 30 PPI. The blue layer filters only smaller dirt particles because it does not come into contact with large dust particles that have not passed the first stage of filtration. The outer surface is corrugated and allows for high airflow, thus retaining 50% more large dirt particles. The efficiency rating of these filters, according to the European standard EN779, ranges from G3 to G4. The average efficiency is over 90% and over 50% for particles as small as one micron. It has a better dust-holding capacity. The filter element should be soaked in special oil for sponge filters. The filter element can be regenerated by washing and drying, and then reinstalled. Replacing the original air filter element with a Polini will improve airflow during intake. Thanks to its properties, the air is perfectly filtered and cleaned, the fuel-air mixture is optimized, and the engine becomes more powerful.
