How to choose the right inner tube for your tire?

You will often find the size written on inner tubes in a standard format, for example: 29 x 1.75–2.40 (622x50–62).

What does this mean?

• 29 – is the wheel diameter in inches, mainly used in mountain bikes (MTB).

• 1.75–2.40 – is the range of tire widths with which the inner tube is compatible (in inches).

• 622 – is the exact inner diameter of the rim in millimeters (compatible with the ETRTO system).

• 50–62 mm – is the range of tire widths for which this inner tube fits according to the ETRTO marking.

This size inner tube will fit tires with a diameter of 622 mm (i.e. 29 inches) and a width from 50 mm to 62 mm (or 1.75"-2.40").

1️⃣ Check your wheel diameter - it should be 622 mm or marked as 29".

2️⃣ **Make sure your tire width is between 50-62 mm (or 1.75"-2.40") - if so, this tube will fit.
