How to choose the right inner tube for your tire?

You will often find the size written on inner tubes in a standard format, for example: 700 x 23/25/28/30/32/35 (622x33-50).

What does this mean?

• 700 – is the approximate wheel diameter in millimeters (often used on road, trekking and gravel bikes).

• 23/25/28/30/32/35 – are the tire widths with which the inner tube can be used (in millimeters).

• 622 – this is the exact inner diameter of the rim in millimeters (ETRTO compatible).

• 33–50 mm – this is the range of tire widths that this tube fits according to the ETRTO marking.

This tube size will fit tires with a diameter of 622 mm and a width from 33 mm to 50 mm.

1️⃣ Check the diameter of your wheel – it should be 622 mm (it may also be marked on the tire as 700c).
