? Build a professional TV network – TechniSat Quattro LNB for multiswitch installations
Building an extensive TV installation in a single-family home, guesthouse, or apartment building requires industrial-grade solutions. If you plan to distribute the satellite signal to multiple outlets in different rooms, standard LNBs won't be enough.
You are entering the world of professional installations, and the heart of your system must be the TechniSat Universal Quattro LNB - a device designed specifically for use with multiswitches.
TechniSat's German engineering ensures that your entire distribution network will receive a crystal-clear, powerful and stable signal at the input, which is crucial when you divide it into 8, 16 or even 32 independent decoders.
⚠️ VERY IMPORTANT - THIS IS NOT A QUAD LNB: This model is a QUATTRO LNB. It is not intended for direct connection of 4 decoders! Its 4 outputs are divided into bands and polarizations (V/L, V/H, H/L, H/H). It works only when connected to an external signal splitting device, such as a multiswitch.
? Why is TechniSat Quattro the foundation of a solid installation?
• ? Dedicated to extensive networks: Perfect for developers, installers and demanding users building a home multimedia center. Distributes the signal to any number of sockets in the building (limited only by the capacity of your multiswitch).
• ? Uncompromising 4K Ultra HD quality for everyone: The converter guarantees that every reception point in the building will receive the highest quality signal, fully supporting 4K, 3D resolution and DVB-S/DVB-S2 standards.
⚙️ Engineering for installers and uncompromising durability
In professional collective installations, there is no room for equipment failures on the roof. TechniSat Quattro is built like a tank to provide maintenance-free service for years:
2. Retractable weather cover (Weather Protection): The lower housing of the converter has a movable flap. After screwing on all four F-type connectors, simply slide it off to hermetically seal off the contact from moisture, driving rain, and copper oxidation.
3. Extreme weather resistance: High-quality, black plastic is completely resistant to UV degradation (does not crumble in summer) and extremely low temperatures in winter.
4. Minimum noise figure: Guarantees perfect "extraction" of the useful signal even from demanding satellites, providing the power reserve necessary when sharing the signal with multiple devices.

? Knowledge Base – Be sure to read before purchasing!
Can I connect 4 decoders directly to this converter? NO! This is the most common mistake buyers make. The Quattro converter outputs 4 different "pieces" of the signal (different bands and polarizations).
If you connect a decoder directly to it, you will only have about 25% of the available channels. If you want to connect 4 decoders directly without any additional devices, you need to buy a QUAD LNB (available in our other auctions).
When do I need a Quattro LNB? Only if you are building an installation using a multiswitch (a special splitter mounted, for example, in the attic). The Quattro LNB connects to the multiswitch with 4 cables, and only from the multiswitch do you run cables to the sockets in individual rooms (up to 4, 8, 16, or more decoders).
