Original product of the renowned company SIMPSON Strong-Tie ®
A large number of nails mounted to the wall plate and to the rafters allows for obtaining very large load-bearing capacity for expansion forces (up to 100 kN), unattainable for other types of connectors.
1. Strong and durable connections
Thanks to the use of high-quality steel (S250GD steel) and the Sendzimir hot-dip galvanizing process, the connector guarantees reliable and durable connections.
2. Usage class 2
It is characterized by material moisture corresponding to a temperature of 20°C and relative humidity of the surrounding air exceeding 85% only for a few weeks a year. (e.g. open sheds or unheated attic)
Application and installation method
Rafter connectors are used to connect rafters or roof trusses to a purlin or wall plate after ensuring a suitable connection between the wall plate and the tie beam.
