The products are immersed in molten zinc at 550-560°C. The zinc coating is formed by a reaction between the steel component and the zinc, and forms on both sides of the immersed component. It provides good corrosion resistance in most environments.

Application and method assembly

• Used to connect timber to steel members to increase the load-bearing capacity of the bolted connection in structural members.

• Installation is carried out using a hydraulic press or a wooden block and a hammer.

• If the toothed ring is assembled in a workshop, 1 or 2 nails may be needed to hold it during transport.
