Frame expansion plugs with collar
12.0x180 mm 25 pcs.
Consists of a polyamide sleeve and a galvanized steel screw with a hexagonal head with an integrated washer and a TX socket.
Plugs with a washer head are most often used for fastening metal elements and in places where a larger pressure surface is needed and flushing the screw head is not required, unlike countersunk head screws.

Original Product of a Reputable Company KLIMAS Met ® Screw
Features and benefits
1. Backplate Head with TX-40/SW-13 Socket
The TX socket guarantees optimal torque transfer, while the use of a SW hexagonal head allows you to tighten the screw with the appropriate force (e.g. using a torque wrench).
2. Thread Reduction
Precise screw insertion. Increased expansion force in the second expansion zone.
3. Anti-corrosion protection - zinc flake
Zinc flake is twice as resistant to corrosion as galvanized zinc. The Klimas Wkręt-met laboratory confirmed the excellent quality of the coating through tests in a salt spray chamber (240 hours in a salt spray chamber for zinc flake compared to 120 hours for galvanized zinc).
4. Polyamide sleeve
Better physical and chemical properties than Polypropylene or Polyethylene.
5. Fire resistance
For the installation of facade systems, the load-bearing capacity of the connector has a sufficient fire resistance of at least 90 minutes (R90). if the design load on one connector NR<0.8kN (without permanent centric load)
Substrates and example applications
B. Solid ceramic brick, silicate
C. Ceramic block,
D. Hollow silicate block,
E. Autoclaved AAC concrete
1. Installation of ventilated facades
2. Air conditioner mounting
3. Mountings using warm assembly technology
4. Mounting elements of building installations
5. Mounting using "warm assembly" technology
6. Mounting elements of building installations
Frame plug with a hexagonal head screw with an integrated washer and a TX socket recommended for mounting metal elements.

• Before installation, identify the substrate in which the fastener will be installed and compare the loads that the fastener will transfer with the load-bearing capacities specified in the Product Data Sheet or the European Technical Assessment.
• The appropriate length of the fastener should be selected so that the expansion zone is located in the wall construction material (the thickness of the fastened element corresponds to the maximum usable length of the fastener).
• The drilling hole depth should be at least 10 mm longer than the anchoring depth of the fastener - this will allow for the correct insertion of the sleeve in the hole and will eliminate the problem of screwing out.
• The use of impact is not recommended when drilling in perforated bricks, ceramic blocks and aerated concrete, which destroys the walls and does not provide reliable embedding the connector.
• The diameter of the drilled holes should match the diameter of the dowels used.
• The drilled hole should be cleaned, at least by passing the drill twice, which will remove the drilling dust. Holes drilled vertically downwards require deeper drilling or blowing out the accumulated drilling dust.
• The dowel is inserted into the drilled hole and the screw is screwed in until it is fully embedded in the sleeve.
• Forcing the screw may cause it to loosen, which is not covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
• Installation should be performed at a temperature between -20 °C and +40 °C (referring to the substrate temperature).
