2x Konjac Sponge Charcoal Face and Body

Run this dark konjac sponge under water and it becomes soft, springy and full of quiet cleansing potential. Made from vegetable fibres of konjac root, it is a gentle face and body cleansing sponge for slow, everyday washing, with a cushioned feel that works with water rather than against the skin.

How the water-softened fibre feels

The rounded dome sits easily in the hand, giving a steady grip as you cleanse the face, neck or body.

Its porous surface drinks in water, then releases it with a soft, buffered glide across the skin.

The charcoal style gives it a deep grey-black tone, simple and understated beside a basin or bath.

Use it as part of a morning rinse, an evening cleanse, or a quieter shower ritual.

The texture is made for gentleness, rather than scratchy scrubbing or harsh polishing.

Konjac root fibre with a charcoal finish

This sponge is made from vegetable fibres of konjac, a plant root long used in East Asian daily life. In sponge form, konjac fibre is valued for the way it holds water, creating a soft surface layer between the sponge and the skin.

The charcoal version has a naturally dark, speckled look, with tiny visible pores across the surface. It feels simple, clean and unfussy, especially for people who prefer a minimalist bathroom routine.

A rounded, porous cleansing dome

The shape is low and curved, like a small half-dome, with a fine open texture visible across the surface. Once fully wetted, it becomes pliable and cushiony, ready to move in light circles rather than drag across the skin.

How to use and care for it

Soak the sponge in water until it is fully soft before using. Massage gently over the face or body, on its own or with your usual cleanser, then rinse it well after each use.

Press out excess water without twisting it harshly, and leave it somewhere airy to dry between uses. Replace it when the fibre begins to break down, loses its softness, or no longer feels fresh.
