Fuji Glass" series, the Mt. Fuji Mini Cherry Blossom Tumbler Glass, which is handcrafted one by one by artisans. The Mt. Fuji Mini Cherry Blossom Tumbler Glass is a new size in the "Mt. Fuji Glass Series," which is very popular not only in Japan but also overseas. It is a cute, smaller size than the standard glass, but the majestic Mt. Fuji is designed on the bottom of the glass using the skills of a skilled glass craftsman, and it has the same substantial feel, but is a size and weight that is easy to hold, so it can be enjoyed by women and the elderly as well. Every step of the Mt. Fuji Glass, from cutting to polishing, is carefully done by hand by artisans. The Mt. Fuji at the bottom of the glass is designed to be as close to the real thing as possible, and the color of the beverage poured into the glass reflects off the sandblasted surface of Mt. Fuji, creating a beautiful effect. Please enjoy the beautifully changing Mt. Fuji. [About Tajima Glass] Founded in 1956 by Matsutaro Tajima in Koto Ward, Tokyo, as a glass tableware manufacturing factory, Tajima Glass Co., Ltd. established its own factory in Matsue, Edogawa Ward, in 1962 and began producing commercial tumblers, wine glasses, etc., and has continued to evolve for half a century. This Edo Kiriko glass manufacturer continues to carefully handcraft each glass product by skilled artisans, following the traditional glassmaking techniques. Based on their deep understanding of glass materials and their long-cultivated product development and technical capabilities, they are passing on the charm and culture of Japanese handmade glass to future generations. They contribute to various aspects of manufacturing, including supplying glass materials to designers and other workshops, and were awarded the 3rd Tokyo Challenge Grand Prize. Tajima Glass's products were the recipients of the Grand Prize and the Commissioner of the Japan Tourism Agency Award at the 2015 Souvenir Grand Prix, and are designated as a traditional craft of Tokyo as "Edo Glass." "Edo Glass" is handmade glass made by artisans who have inherited the glassmaking methods of the Edo period. From cutting to polishing, everything is carefully done by hand by artisans, and unlike mass production by machines, every product is an original, one-of-a-kind item, characterized by the depth, flavor, and high design quality that only handmade products can offer. "Edo Glass" was designated as a traditional craft of Tokyo in 2002 and as a national traditional craft by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in 2014. Since ancient times, Mount Fuji has been revered as a sacred mountain and an object of worship for people. Its magnificent and graceful form is widely known overseas as a symbol of Japan. Enjoy bliss with this glass. In addition to enjoying this moment yourself, it makes a perfect gift for a loved one or someone who enjoys alcohol, and is also ideal for celebrations such as birthdays, weddings, 60th birthdays, Father's Day, Mother's Day, and as a souvenir for overseas.
