HG “Macross” plastic model series, fifth installment! From “Macross 7,” which celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2024, comes a plastic model kit of Burning Isshin Vasara’s beloved machine, the “VF-19改,” together with its large reinforcement weapon, the “Sound Booster”!

■ Employs “Interchangeable Three-Stage Transformation (Shortcut Change),” which simplifies the transformation sequence by using interchangeable parts in some areas. This achieves the ease of assembly and wide range of motion characteristic of the HG series, as well as a refined form in each mode.

■ Simplifies the transformation sequence by incorporating interchangeable parts into some of the transformation mechanisms, allowing for easy transformation into Battroid, Gerwalk, and Fighter modes.

■ By adopting “Interchangeable Three-Stage Transformation (Shortcut Change),” the forms of each mode are pursued to match the images in the setting materials.

■ Achieves a new dimension of posability by eliminating complex structures and providing optimal movement points with posing in mind.

■ The state of the shoulder speakers can be reproduced by swapping parts.

■ Employs “Visual Impression Reproduction (Style Change),” which reproduces the style from the series through various extending and moving gimmicks.

■ Includes the large reinforcement weapon “Sound Booster,” allowing for transformation into the Fire Valkyrie combined form. As an original gimmick for the plastic model, it can also be attached to Fighter mode.

■ The opening and closing of the mask can be reproduced by swapping face parts.

■ The canopy, which uses polarized molding, can be opened and closed.

■ Includes nameplate stickers with excellent coverage despite their thinness.

■ Metallic layers are sandwiched between the interior of the Sound Booster and the shoulders, employing three-dimensional plastic stickers.
