Baratza Encore ESP is an automatic coffee grinder for home use. Thanks to its wide range of grinding finenesses, the Encore ESP effortlessly handles precise grinding of coffee for both espresso and pour-over brewing methods. The grinder is easy to use, takes up little space, and grinding coffee takes only moments. It's ideal for beginners and more demanding home baristas.\r\nDesign and UseThe grinder's housing has a minimalist design, is compact, and is made of fingerprint-resistant plastic. This is an on-demand grinder, so grinding occurs on demand – the coffee is ground directly into the container just before brewing. The grinder is equipped with two containers – a larger one for pour-over brewing methods and a smaller one adapted to most portafilters (diameter 54mm and an additional adapter increasing the diameter to 58mm). Grinding is controlled by a pulse button, giving you full control over the amount of ground coffee. Additionally, the Encore ESP features a new on/off switch.Grind AdjustmentThe Encore ESP offers 40 grind settings, from very fine to coarse. Grind settings 1-20 are suitable for espresso and coffee makers, while settings 21-40 are suitable for pour-over methods like the Chemex, AeroPress, dripper, syphon, and French press. Regardless of the grind setting, the grinder has low retention – no ground coffee residue remains in the grinder.BurnersThe grinder is equipped with 40mm M2 conical burrs made of hardened steel, manufactured in Europe. Maintenance is incredibly easy, as removing the burr requires no tools and takes just seconds.MotorThe Baratza Encore ESP is equipped with a powerful DC motor that offers high torque while maintaining a low speed (550 RPM) thanks to electronic reduction. This makes the motor run smoother, quieter, and cooler. A thermal cutout further protects it from overheating.
