- The tongue drum, also called a slit drum, is a relatively new instrument belonging to the idiophone category. - An idiophone is an instrument that produces sound through the vibration of the instrument itself. Today its calm, gentle tone is attracting attention and growing in popularity in scenes such as meditation, yoga, and sound therapy. - It is played by striking the keys with mallets or fingers. Since it is a simple playing method that does not require difficult technique, anyone regardless of age or knowledge and experience of instruments can enjoy it easily. - Note: This product is not tuned to the exact 12-tone scale; it is tuned to prioritize the overall pitch balance. - Due to design changes by the manufacturer, the exterior design, color, specifications, etc. may change without notice.
