In recent years, there has been progress in discussions regarding the terminology of pressure ulcers, new developments in home care, and a better understanding of related pathologies in the field of nursing. This special feature explains the recent trends in pressure ulcer treatment and aims to help dermatologists and nurses understand the pathophysiology, treatment, and care of pressure ulcers.
