GreenPan 18cm Saucepan with Glass Induction Ceramic Apex Series 2.0L Lid, Compatible, Coating,

Dimensions: 35.9 cm (length) x 19.6 cm (width) x 14.2 cm (height) Weight: 1240 g Full capacity: 2.0 L Suitable for use with gas stoves and induction cooktops (200V/HI compatible). Combining aesthetic appeal with toughness, the Apex features a unique structure with a stainless steel layer etched with GreenPan's proprietary textured pattern and coated with two layers of PFAS-free ceramic. The stainless steel surface (with raised areas) gives food a nice, crispy browning, while the etched raised areas, protected by a ceramic layer, prevent wear and maintain their strength and non-stick properties. The body features a three-layer structure (stainless steel/aluminum/stainless steel). By sandwiching the aluminum core, which quickly conducts heat, between layers of stainless steel, heat is distributed evenly not only to the bottom but also to the sides, ensuring that food is thoroughly cooked through even on low to medium heat. The patented, unique ceramic coating "Thermolon," which incorporates diamond particles, has been further improved. A transparent clear coat layer applied to the entire surface of the pot or frying pan provides superior scratch resistance. Just as you choose high-quality ingredients, we want you to be particular about your cooking utensils as well. These are made from materials that are environmentally and human-friendly, and do not contain any harmful substances such as PFOA, other PFAS, lead, or cadmium. The synergistic effect of ceramic, which has far-infrared radiation properties, and diamond particles, which have excellent heat conductivity and heat diffusion, improves cooking efficiency. Because of its good heat conductivity, cooking is possible with just low to medium heat. The non-stick effect is achieved when the pan is properly preheated. Preheat the pan over low to medium heat for 1 to 1.5 minutes without adding any oil. Then, add oil or butter and begin cooking. Adjust the preheating heat and time according to the size of your pan (for example, preheating time will differ between a 20cm and a 28cm pan). While dishwasher safe, hand washing is recommended. After use, hand wash thoroughly with a mild detergent to remove all dirt, and do not air dry; wipe off any moisture with a cloth. Invisible dirt can accumulate and cause food to stick. If you notice food sticking, we recommend cleaning with a melamine sponge. Melamine sponges remove dirt by abrasion, so overuse can affect the coating, but they are effective when dirt is a concern.
