To create a sharp and clean impression, the corners are made at right angles and the interior is finished with folded edges. The distinctive edges are created by triple-folding the edges of the outer leather with leather and stitching along the folds of the leather. This is an advanced technique that requires perfectly straight stitching without distortion. In addition, by changing the color tone and material of the leather for the triple-folding from the main leather, the edges are made to stand out and the strength against wear on the corners is increased. The cowhide kip leather in this series is processed using a traditional method called four-way kneading* to give the leather texture. The grain is finished with a plump, natural texture that is different from embossing, and is attractive for its supple and elegant feel.
