Summary of three types of screen protectors:
1.High-definition film
It delivers the sharpest viewing effect with a smooth surface, yet it is prone to light reflection.
2.Matte film
It offers the best anti-glare performance and features a fine surface texture, but it has the lowest clarity among the three options.
3.Paper-like film
It has a rough surface and strikes a balance between anti-glare property and clarity. It is thicker than the other two types, with a thicker adhesive layer. Small air bubbles can be squeezed out, and it is more forgiving during application.
Soft Screen Protector Installation Guide
1.Align the film with your screen. Check edges and holes to make sure the film sits centered. Lay your device sideways. Start applying from the side with button holes.
2.Clean the screen. Remove dust, hair and oil. Keep away from fans to avoid new dust.
3.Peel off about 1/4 of the Step-1 backing sheet. Line up one corner or edge. Hold the film with one hand. Use a squeegee with your other hand to push slowly and squeeze out air until the whole film sticks. Push out any edge bubbles with the squeegee.
4.Pull off the Step-2 top protective layer. (You may also peel Step-2 first to pick up dust, as you like.) Done!
Note: Small bubbles on paper-like film will disappear after scraping with the squeegee.
How to remove air bubbles
Bubbles are mostly caused by dust.
Lift up the film at the bubble spot. You can use tape to pull one corner up, or use your fingernail to lift it.
Use dust-removal tape to pick the dust away.
For paper-like film: small bubbles can be pressed flat. For large bubbles, remove the dust inside.
How to take off the film
(Not for tempered glass film)
1.Use the leftover Step 1 / Step 2 sticker to stick and lift one corner.
2.Slide your release liner under the loose corner.
3.Pry up the loose corner gently with your fingernail.
4.Carefully lift the corner with a thin piece or small knife
