FUJIFILM 16-55mm F/2.8 XF Sports Zoom Lens

FUJIFILM 16-55mm F/2.8 XF Sports Zoom Lens.

Cutting-edge optical technology in a lens just 95mm (3.74 inches) long: Thanks to advances in lens manufacturing technology, the size and weight of the XF16-55mmF2.8 R LM WR II lens have been significantly reduced compared to its predecessor, the XF16-55mmF2.8 R LM WR. Improved polishing and machining, along with more advanced assembly techniques, make the second-generation lens 11mm shorter and approximately 37% lighter than its predecessor. The filter thread has also been reduced to 72mm, so the new lens uses the same filters as the original XF50-140mmF2.8 R LM OIS WR. Maintaining the sharpness of its award-winning predecessor, the XF16-55mmF2.8 R LM WR II lens adds ED elements to enhance edge sharpness and minimize chromatic aberration. Furthermore, advancements in aspherical lens technology and ultra-fine machining combine to reduce ring patterns and produce a smooth bokeh effect. It delivers results with extremely fine detail, even at the maximum aperture where zoom lenses have traditionally struggled. Despite its compact size, the XF16-55mmF2.8 R LM WR II lens delivers autofocus performance. This is thanks to a specially designed linear motor that enables fast and nearly silent autofocus. With a minimum focusing distance of 0.3m (11.8 inches) and a maximum magnification of 0.21x, it provides an impressive scope for close-up images. The most dramatic moments often occur in bad weather. That's why the XF16-55mmF2.8 R LM WR II lens, when paired with a weather-resistant X-series body, is designed to be dust and moisture resistant. It's for anyone who wants to work anywhere in almost any condition. Continue creating without worrying about water droplets, sand, dust, or temperatures down to -10°C.
