From medium-gain to high-gain sounds, the DIAMONDHEAD can create clear, deep, and three-dimensional drive tones, and can be as a drive pedal with a clean-sounding amp, or as a boost pedal placed in front of an overdriven tube amp. Three powerful active EQ controls are designed to maximize the potential of the gain section. The BASS control boosts and cuts 80Hz, and there is no muddiness in the sound when boosting the bass. The MID range control, set to 800Hz, allows for a wide range of sound shaping, from bold scoop sounds to very aggressive modern sounds.
