【Voltage Compatibility】
When using electrical appliances, please note that they are designed for Japanese voltage specifications (90-110V), so if you use them with a different voltage, it may cause a malfunction.
【Plug Type】
Our products use Japanese plug types (A or B type).
Please use a conversion adapter if necessary.
【Important Note on Transformers and Adapters】
A transformer adjusts voltage to match your device’s requirements.
A conversion adapter only changes the plug shape and does not adjust voltage.
Using only a conversion adapter without a transformer may result in damage to the product.
【Liability】
We are not responsible for malfunctions or damages caused by improper use, such as operating the product without a transformer.

Four types of drivers, five drivers per side: The Kiwi Ears Quintet features four types of drivers: one diamond-like carbon (DLC) dynamic driver, two balanced armature (BA) drivers, one planar magnetic driver, and one piezoelectric (PZT) bone conductor. With a total of five drivers in each ear, the Quintet delivers extremely high-resolution audio comparable to professional studio monitors. The subwoofer is a large 10mm DLC driver that takes advantage of DLC's high responsiveness and tensile strength, outputting impactful bass with rapid decay. Knowles' balanced armature drivers deliver natural, high-resolution midrange, a classic example of why balanced armatures are loved in the industry.
Kiwi Microplanar Transducer (MPT) Driver: Achieving high-quality ultra-treble has been a challenge in the IEM industry. While BA drivers are compact, they have poor ultra-treble extension and limitations in output and sound quality. EST (electrostatic) drivers have very low output and get buried in the volume of other drivers, making them difficult to use in multi-driver setups. Furthermore, EST drivers can sound very metallic at high voltages, giving them an unnatural presence. Therefore, Kiwi Ears has developed a new ultra-treble tweeter with an astonishing output of 118dB despite its tiny 5mm module size. The Kiwi MPT driver efficiently generates sustained high frequencies from 4kHz to 40kHz.
Planar Magnetic Diaphragm, etc.: This new tweeter, a new driver technology in the IEM industry, features a classic planar magnetic driver circuit but with a smaller footprint for use in hybrid designs. With an extremely low noise floor and high output capacitance, this planar magnetic driver delivers crisp, detailed high frequencies that differ from the common BA or EST (electrostatic) tweeters in most IEMs today. Finally, a piezoelectric driver was utilized to achieve the fine detail and airiness of the ultra-high frequencies. In R&D testing, the presence of the PZT driver significantly improved the audio resolution, texture, and soundstage.
Natural Sound: The Kiwi Ears Quintet inherits the natural and balanced tuning characteristics of Kiwi Ears. To meet the demands of professional musicians and audio engineers, the sound quality of the Kiwi Ears Quintet is like that of recording studio in-ear monitors. The Kiwi Ears Quintet has a 3-way structure, achieving complex layering and effectively reducing THD+N. The bass of the Kiwi Ears Quintet is limited to the sub-bass frequency range. The peak value from 20Hz to 200Hz is 8dB. From 200Hz to 800Hz, the distortion within that range is only 1dB. The treble now fits the perception of the human ear contour, with a peak value of 7dB at 2.5KHz and slowly decaying from 10KHz.
Superior Audio Cable: The Kiwi Ears Quintet cable is a 4-core 7N oxygen-free copper (OFC) cable that enhances sound quality. Ultra-lightweight materials are to create this cable. It features a standard international 0.78mm 2-pin connector, compatible with most commercially available earphones. Additionally, it has a 3.5mm stereo plug, making it suitable for smartphones, laptops, PCs, and other devices.
Comfortable Fit and Ergonomic Design: These in-ear headphones feature a compact and lightweight design, ensuring comfortable wear even during extended use. The ergonomic design provides a secure fit, delivering a high-quality music experience without latency. They are also waterproof, making them suitable for various situations.
Product Specifications [About Kiwi Ears] At Kiwi Ears, we have created a combination of technological innovation and precise tuning strategies, driven by the desire to reproduce superior audio. In particular, considering the working environment of musicians and engineers working in recording studios, we develop top-of-the-line in-ear monitors without compromise, so that they can faithfully reproduce audio signals. Our professional engineers are not satisfied with ordinary products and handcraft all the drivers. Users can experience music to the fullest without worrying about what is in their ears. We are Kiwi Ears. We bring unprecedented musical experiences to audio enthusiasts. [Kiwi Micro-Planar Transducer (MPT) Driver] Achieving high-quality ultra-treble has been a challenge in the IEM industry. BA drivers are compact, but have poor ultra-treble extension and limitations in output and sound quality. EST (Electrostatic Transmission) drivers have very low output and are difficult to use in multi-driver setups because they get buried in the volume of other drivers. Furthermore, EST drivers
High voltage can produce a very metallic sound, sometimes resulting in an unnatural presence. Therefore, Kiwi Ears has developed a new ultra-treble tweeter with an astonishing output of 118dB despite its tiny 5mm module size. The Kiwi MPT driver efficiently generates sustained high frequencies from 4kHz to 40kHz. Typical BA and EST drivers see a drop in high-frequency output above 8kHz. However, the MPT driver can maintain the same constant sound pressure at 14kHz as at 4kHz and 8kHz. Because the MPT driver's output is similar to other drivers such as BA and DD, it offers great flexibility in tuning. Furthermore, the MPT driver has a much more natural tone than EST and BA drivers, resulting in better integration into mixes.
