Employing high-function nylon twill with [Master-piece]’s original special water-repellent processing, m-coat, for the body fabric. This lightweight business series features ample storage and a simple design, ready for all weather conditions. The body fabric is made from high-strength 66 nylon (70d warp, 210d weft) tightly woven into a twill pattern and dyed with high-pressure dyeing. Subsequently, it undergoes [Master-piece]’s original special water-repellent processing, m-coat. m-coat boasts significantly superior water repellency and abrasion resistance compared to conventional water-repellent processing. Unlike traditional methods, it utilizes special technology to structure the water-repellent agent on the fiber surface, achieving excellent water repellency and durability. Many water-repellent products lose performance with repeated use and washing, but m-coat maintains a Bundesmann water-repellent test grade 4 even after 100 washes. For water-repellency testing, we employ the rigorous Bundesmann test (※), which is more demanding than the spray test (JIS -L1092) commonly used in conventional measurement standards.

Furthermore, the back of the fabric is treated with Breathatec from Toray Industries, Inc. This is a polyurethane wet microporous coating material using unique polymer technology, combining high water resistance. The polyurethane used in the coating material is durable polycarbonate. m-coat’s water-repellent function repels water, while Breathatec’s water resistance prevents water penetration, making it a material capable of handling sudden downpours and heavy rain.

The attached leather is carefully selected high-quality domestic steer leather. During dyeing, a waterproofing agent from “3M” is placed in a drum and allowed to penetrate deep into the leather fibers.

If nylon material is left wet for a long period, the PVC on the back may peel or deteriorate, so be sure to dry it thoroughly before storing.
