Flat Pack Gift Box - Lrg Hand Box (28 × 12.5 × 26 cm) - Brown Craft

Some gifts are too generous for a standard box. A hamper of treats, a candle with a bath set, a small collection gathered with care. This brown kraft gift box gives them somewhere to sit together, and a cut-out handle at the top means the whole thing can be lifted and carried like a bag.

What you'll notice

The kraft finish is plain and matte, in a warm natural tan with no print or gloss to compete with what goes inside.

A rounded, slot-shaped handle is cut into the top panel, so the box carries easily with one hand.

The front panel slopes into a tapered side, which gives it a shape closer to a considered carry-case than a plain square carton.

It arrives flat, so it takes up very little room in a drawer or cupboard until you need it.

The understated surface takes ribbon, tissue, a handwritten tag or a sprig of greenery well, so you can dress it up or leave it simple.

Construction and assembly

This is a flat pack box, folded from a single kraft board form and brought into shape when you are ready to fill it. Setting it up is part of the pleasure: the sides come together, the handle panel stands upright, and a flat sheet becomes a structured carrier. It is made in China.

What it suits

Its larger hand-box format suits gifts that need a little more room: hampers, candles, bath sets, home fragrance, food treats and accessories. It also works well for seasonal gifting, when you are pulling several smaller things into one presentable package. Because the kraft is so neutral, the same box can serve a birthday, a thank-you or a winter gift without changing character.

Size and details

The box measures 28 × 12.5 × 26 cm. The 12.5 cm depth keeps it slim and upright, which suits flatter or taller items better than something very wide. It is brown craft in colour.

The ritual of wrapping

Plain kraft has long been a favourite for gifting because it puts the focus on the care taken rather than the packaging itself. In Japan, the idea of tsutsumu treats wrappin…
