Installation method:
1. Screw the lens hood in, then screw the ring clockwise until it locks into place. It does not need to be tightened further.
2. Rotate the lens hood and turn the locking ring counterclockwise until the lens hood is horizontal.
3. Keep the lens hood horizontal and turn the locking ring clockwise to secure it firmly.
How to uninstall:
1. Stabilize the lens hood and rotate the locking ring counterclockwise all the way.
2. Rotate the lens hood and attach the locking ring counterclockwise until it is detached from the lens and filter.
Note: This lens hood is compatible with lenses with a 49mm filter size. Please check your camera's lens thread size before ordering. Your camera's lens thread size is marked somewhere on the lens barrel or printed on the underside of the lens cap. This number is always preceded by the "Ø" (diameter) symbol. For example, Ø49 = 49mm lens thread size.
