[General Information] – This DIY Mod kit consists of anti-bend replacement buckles, liquid metal thermal paste, and a patent-pending structure for sealing liquid on top of the CPU for AMD Ryzen 7000, 8000, and 9000 series CPUs with an AM5 LGA1718 socket. (🔺Caution: 1. This work requires advanced DIY skills. Only experienced users should attempt it. 2. Do not use liquid metal thermal paste with aluminum heatsinks. 3. Carefully examine the images and select the appropriate heatsink.) [AM5 Contact Frame and CPU Guard] – Carbon fiber fastening buckles evenly distribute pressure across the entire edge of the IHS. The CNC-machined frame keeps the CPU mounted in the socket perfectly flat and prevents bending in the center. A double sealing guard prevents liquid metal leakage. Insulating pads and gaskets withstand high temperatures of 260°C. [Liquid Metal Thermal Paste] – Based on gallium, this paste incorporates special materials to achieve a high thermal conductivity of 82W/m-K. This V3 edition is not a liquid, it's like ice cream! It's 10 times better than regular paste. Easy to apply and long-lasting. Perfect for enthusiasts seeking ultimate performance. (Note: 🔺Never use on aluminum. 🔺It is conductive; do not spill it on electronic components or PCBs. 🔺It hardens in winter. Warm the tube with water before use.) [LGA1718 Buckle Bending Issue] – Again, like Intel's 12th and 13th LGA1700s. A 0.1mm warp was observed in the center of the IHS. AMD thickened the IHS but cut it with eight large notches that significantly weakened its strength. The stock LOTES buckle puts a lot of pressure on the center and the top bends. Poor thermal contact with the heatsink. [All DIY Tools Included] – A plate to extend the bottom of the heatsink (if needed). This plate, along with the O-ring, will trap the liquid metal inside. The plate needs to be glued and aligned to the heatsink. Various files and adhesives have been added to achieve this purpose. Replacement screws and a T20 screwdriver to replace the stock CPU buckle. Cotton swabs, finger cots, and a small brush for applying the liquid metal. Detailed instructions showing how to operate.
