Product Introduction
This solution is specifically designed for applications using two lithium-ion cells connected in series (8.2V/8.4V/8.5V/8.8V). It consists of the IP2336 (charge/discharge management) and the CM1325 (battery protection + balancing);
IP2336—Handles 5V boost charging (converting USB 5V to 8.2V/8.4V/8.5V/8.8V to charge the battery) and reverse buck discharge (converting the battery’s 8.2V/8.4V/8.5V/8.8V to 5V for external power supply), integrating the DRP Try. SRC protocol and the PD 3.0 input/output fast-charging protocol.
CM1325—Handles battery balancing (real-time balancing of the voltage difference between the two cells) and comprehensive hardware protection against overcharge, over-discharge, overcurrent, and short circuits. Together, these two components not only resolve the “charge-discharge transition” issue but also address the “battery longevity” challenge, making them the ideal power core for 2S lithium-ion products such as Bluetooth speakers, power tools, portable energy storage devices, and power banks.
