Product Description
Need to boost a single Li‑ion cell (3.7V) to 5V, 9V, or 12V? This mini boost module is the perfect solution. Input 2.5-5V, output selectable (5/8/9/12V) via solder pads. Tiny 22×11mm size. From 3.7V input, get 5V/1A for Arduino or 12V/0.3A for small motors/LED strips. Extremely low no‑load current – ideal for battery‑powered projects. Perfect for power banks, flashlights, IoT devices.
Quick Start Guide & Important Tips
What It Does & What You Need
This module does:
Boosts 2.5-5V to 5/8/9/12V (selectable)
Powers Li‑ion devices needing higher voltage
This module does NOT: Step down, constant current output
You will need: DC source (2.5-5V, e.g., 18650), multimeter (for checking)
Package includes: Boost module × (as per SKU)
️ Important:
Input must be lower than output (boost only). Input ≤5V, output ≥5V.
Current capability: See table. Do not exceed.
Heat: Module may get warm at full load – ensure ventilation.
Soldering: Disconnect power before changing output pads.
LED: Can be disabled by opening the LED solder pad.

Common Questions
Wrong output voltage?
Check solder pads A/B configuration. Default is 12V.
Low output current?
Check input power capability
Load may exceed module rating
Higher input voltage (5V) gives better output current
Module getting hot?
Normal under load. Reduce load or improve cooling if too hot.
Can I use 1.5V AA battery?
No – minimum input is 2.5V. Use two AA in series (3V) or a Li‑ion cell.
Disable LED?
Open the solder pad next to the LED to turn it off.
