Electric underfloor heating kit for tiles
⭐Mission Air® MA-160 heating mat
⭐ARIES temperature controller
Modern electric underfloor heating
The single-sided, self-adhesive MissionAir® MA-160 heating mat with a power of 160W/m² is made of a thin, high-temperature-resistant heating cable.
The heating mat is designed for installation under ceramic, stoneware or stone tiles, directly in the adhesive layer under the tiles or in a layer of self-leveling screed.
Take care of your comfort
Using an underfloor heating set with the Mission Air® electric heating mat significantly improves the comfort of household members, providing the much-loved effect of a pleasantly warm floor.
MA-160 heating mats can work as:
✅basic and independent heating system in a given room. For this purpose, it is recommended that the surface of the heating mats cover at least 2/3 of the entire room,
✅supporting heating, used, for example, to achieve a warm floor effect in a specific room.
Mission Air® ARIES
It is a manually controlled controller.
The system's operation is based on one NTC10Ω floor temperature sensor, which is included in the set. The controller is designed for flush mounting (in a box, which is also included in the set).
• on/off switch,
• smoothly adjustable thermostat allowing for setting the temperature in the range of 5 to 40 °C
• LED diode, indicating the device's operating status, which lights up when the heating is on until the required level of heated floor is reached.
• floor temperature sensor included,
• anti-frost function.
Mounting accessories included
1. Guiding arc, which guarantees the correct curvature of the pipe transition from the wall to the floor structure,
2. Flush-mounted box for the controller,
3. Protective tube for the floor temperature sensor,
4. Protective conduit for power cables,
5. Floor temperature sensor for the controller (included with the controller)
*colors of individual mounting elements may vary depending on the production series.
⭐Simple installation, requiring no major renovation work or many hours spent on the entire installation,
⭐Low investment cost, especially compared to traditional water underfloor heating,
⭐Exceptional response efficiency compared to other heating systems. We don't have to wait for the stove to heat the water, which then releases heat into the room. The electric heating cable heats practically immediately after starting operation,
⭐Environmentally friendly system, no noise, no dust, and no pollution,
⭐ The underfloor heating systemsaves valuable space in the room. The system is invisible and discreet, providing greater flexibility in creating the ideal living environment. The only visible element of the system is the room temperature controller.
⭐Savings! Low operating costs, thanks to the system's exceptional responsiveness and efficiency. Additionally, combined with a photovoltaic panel system, we can have virtually free heating in our home!
The MA-160 heating mat system is reliable, safe, and manufactured with durability and comfort of use in mind.
The approx. 3mm thick heating cable is attached to a fiberglass mesh. The mounting mesh is self-adhesive, covered with an adhesive layer on the underside. Simply unroll the mat in the desired location, gently press the mesh onto the substrate, and you're done.
Installing the mat directly in the adhesive layer under the tiles allows it to be used in places where there are limited options for raising the floor level. This solution allows the MA-160 heating mat to be used not only in new investments, but also during renovation works.
MA-160 mats are equipped with a 3m power cable.
For comfortable and safe use of the heating system, the mat must be connected to a room temperature controller that will allow you to control the mat's operation.
1. Ceramic, stoneware, stone tiles
2. Flexible tile adhesive
3. Floor temperature sensor in the protective tube
4. MA-160 heating mat
5. Floor thermal insulation (optional)
6. Flexible adhesive for tiles
7. Floor screed
Cutting the heating mat
When planning the arrangement of the system in a given room, we can cut the mounting mesh as much as possible. Properly cutting the mesh allows us to adapt the heating mat to virtually any room shape.
4. Avoiding an obstacle
Note! Do not cut, shorten, or cut the heating cable. Only the mounting mesh needs to be cut.
Save with Mission Air®!
The constantly rising costs of traditional gas heating and soaring coal prices definitely speak in favor of electric heating based on heating mats.
Additionally, by using a home photovoltaic installation, we can achieve virtually free heating in our home!

Frequently Asked Questions
Can the heating mat's heating cable be shortened?
The heating cable cannot be cut or shortened. The fiberglass mesh on which the heating cable is mounted can be cut.
Can the heating cables cross or touch each other?
The heating mat's cables must not cross or touch each other. This may damage the insulation and the heating element.
Can the heating mat be installed under a shower tray, bathtub, or shower?
The heating mat should not be installed in places most exposed to moisture, such as a shower tray, bathtub, or shower.
Can the heating mat be installed under furniture?
The heating mat can be installed under furniture that has legs at least 3 cm high and allows for free air circulation. The mat should not be installed under furniture that is flush with the floor. Thick carpets or pet beds should not be placed within the mat's application area.
Can the MA-160 heating mat be installed under floor panels?
The MA-160 heating mat should not be installed under floor panels. We install infrared heating foils or MAL-160 heating mats from Mission Air® under the floor panels.
Can the heating mat be plugged into a socket?
The heating mat cannot be connected to the mains using a standard plug connection. The heating mat should always be connected to a room temperature regulator/controller.
Does the electrical connection of the heating mat require special permissions?
The electrical connections of the heating mat must be made by a certified electrician, who will also perform the necessary electrical measurements of the heating mat and the electrical installation to rule out any faults and ensure safe operation of the system.
How can I check if the purchased heating mat is not damaged and is working properly?
To check if the heating mat is not damaged and is working properly, measure the resistance of the heating wire (details in the installation instructions).
What should I do if the heating mat was mechanically damaged during installation and is no longer working?
The heating mat should be dismantled and a new heating mat installed. Using a damaged mat is unacceptable.
