HOW TO USE

STEP I - Preparation of the surface

• Raw wood to be varnished should be clean and dry, smooth, free of dust, grease and resin stains

• The wood should be previously seasoned and dried, with a moisture content of no more than 20%; Damp wood will not absorb the clear impregnation and will cause the varnish to separate from the wood.

Additionally, the surface should be polished.

• Surfaces exposed to long-term water and snow deposition (e.g. front surfaces of garden pickets) should be smooth without any defects or tears, thoroughly polished and the edges rounded.

• On horizontal surfaces exposed to water and snow deposition, it is recommended to make a slope of at least 15 degrees for quick drainage.

STEP II - Preparation of the product

• Before use, mix the product thoroughly to ensure homogeneous consistency and color

• do not dilute

• repeat mixing during application

STEP III - Varnishing

• apply at the substrate and ambient temperature from +5°C to +30°C and relative air humidity up to 65%

• application and drying of the varnish stain cannot take place in unfavorable weather conditions, protect the elements against precipitation

• apply the varnish stain evenly over the entire surface along the wood grain, at least 2 layers

• Apply subsequent layers at least 12 hours apart

• Properly applied stain varnish provides transparent coatings with visible wood grain

• After 7 days, the surface obtains full resistance properties

• Do not apply stain varnish on fresh layers of Vidaron Protective and Decorative Impregnation in color - it may cause loss of adhesion

• Wash, degrease and dry.

• In the case of renovation of previously impregnated or varnished items, the renovated elements should be disassembled, the surfaces should be washed, possibly degrease if dirty with greasy substances, dried, and sanded until a uniform color is achieved.

• Apply varnish stain according to the guidelines below in "Varnishing."

• Re-screw after drying.

• Seal cross-joints and multi-layer joints with silicone or polymer masses to limit water penetration.

• Choosing the right type of wood is crucial for the durability of a given element of garden architecture, construction joinery and other wooden elements. Ask a specialist for advice.

• Over the life of the varnished surface, it will gradually age. This will vary depending on the operating conditions. The higher the exposure to sunlight, environmental pollution, humidity, and temperature, the faster the process will occur.

• Drying times depend on the number of layers, the temperature and humidity of the substrate and environment, and the type of wood.
