• Decorates wood, permanently staining and highlighting its natural grain. At the same time, it gives it a beautiful appearance thanks to the Velvet TouchTM effect, which makes the resulting coating satin to the touch. The product is ideal for those who appreciate the natural texture of wood.
• Protects wood against the damaging effects of atmospheric factors (frost, moisture, and UV rays).
It is particularly recommended for tool sheds, garden sheds, gazebos, fences, gates, balustrades, garden furniture, verandas, pergolas, and other elements of wooden architecture made of smooth, planed wood.
• Dry to the touch – after at least 2 hours;
• Application of the next layer – after at least 4 hours;
• Careful use – after at least 4 hours;
• Full functional properties – after at least 24 hours.
Soft wood absorbs the product more easily and the coating dries faster. On hardwood species, the drying time may be extended.

NUMBER OF LAYERS
• 2-3 layers.
• Do not add foreign ingredients.
• - dry and seasoned - wood moisture should not exceed 15%,
• clean and degreased (free of dirt - dust, sand, stains, organic deposits, etc.),
• smoothly sanded,
with a suitable wood filler, level and sand,
• pre-primed with Sadolin Base, Sadolin BaseHP or Sadolin SuperBase technical impregnation.
When renovating, perform a test coat on a small area.
It is also recommended to test the product on a small area to select the right color – the final color will depend on the initial color, the condition of the wood, and the number of layers applied.
It is recommended to wipe heavily resinous surfaces with a cloth dampened with mineral spirits and wait for them to dry.
Substrates and surfaces exposed to prolonged water and snow accumulation should be designed so that water is drained away and cannot accumulate anywhere. It is recommended that horizontal surfaces have a runoff angle (inclination) of at least 15°.
To achieve the proper thickness of the protective coating on the edges, it is recommended to round off sharp wood edges (rounding radius min. 2mm).
Metal elements embedded in the wood should be adequately protected against corrosion. Dry sanding creates dust and dirt. We recommend using appropriate respiratory protection.
• Ambient temperature should be between +5°C and +30°C,
• Relative air humidity should be lower than 70%,
during or when there is a risk of rain, fog, snow), on hot afternoons and in strong winds.
• - brush: the best effect will be achieved using brushes with artificial bristles.
• Do not dilute the varnish stain before use,
• Apply 2-3 coats, at least 4 hours apart from the previous coat.
• Spread thoroughly along the wood grain until an even layer is achieved.
• Before applying the next coat, if the wood fibers are raised, sand the coating with fine-grained sandpaper and remove dust thoroughly.
• The third coat of varnish stain is recommended for surfaces particularly exposed to weather conditions.
The color of the varnish stain in the package after opening the can differs from the target color, which will only be achieved after the applied coat has completely dried. The final color will depend on the initial color of the wood and the number of coats applied.

It is not recommended to use Sadolin 3-in-1 Varnish Stain directly on wood species with a high tannin content, such as oak and exotic woods, e.g.
Do not use the varnish stain on roof and floor surfaces, surfaces exposed to long-term, continuous contact with water, or oiled or wax-impregnated surfaces.
