Do not use the product on elements in direct contact with food, as well as metal floors, stairs, and passageways.
Ensure constant water drainage, e.g. during rain.
• The product should be mixed thoroughly before use. If necessary, dilute with RAFILPROSTO NA RDZĘ Thinner up to a maximum of 3%, and when used in specialized pneumatic spray systems, up to a maximum of 20%.
There is a risk that products from different production batches will differ slightly in color or gloss. To eliminate this, ensure the appropriate amount of product and then combine them into a single bulk container to ensure a uniform product.
• A properly prepared surface should be free of dust, sand, loose rust, oil, grease, mill scale, and all other contaminants. To achieve full anti-corrosion protection, substrates must be prepared in accordance with the recommendations for anti-corrosion work, according to the PNISO85011 standard, grade St3, i.e., "St3 More thorough cleaning by hand and using a power tool.
Requirements are the same as for St 2, except that the surface should be cleaned until it acquires a metallic sheen (from the metal substrate)", and the PNISO85013 standard, grade P3, i.e., all straight edges should be rounded to a radius of approximately 2 mm, holes after machining should be chamfered, cut elements should be rounded, pits and craters in the material should be ground to eliminate sharp edges, and welds should be ground, cleaned of coating, and made in such a way that their structure is free of porosity.
The prepared material should be dedusted and degreased using white spirit.
Leaving the surface unprotected causes flash rust to form very quickly, which in turn contributes to weakened adhesion and reduced corrosion protection. The rust development process is directly related to the environmental conditions in which the element is located.
If an undesirable reaction occurs, the entire old coating must be removed.
It is recommended to apply 23 layers of the product at a dry film thickness of approximately 80 microns. If you need to apply a second coat after at least 14 days, perform a test coat each time, i.e., check the suitability of the coat on a small area.
These recommendations are related to factors such as: thickness of applied coatings, humidity, temperature, air circulation, degree of finish, and color. At the same time, avoid repeated brushing, as this may lead to softening of the previous layer and/or the formation of non-uniformity in the coating.
