• Nail preparation: Remove old polish with Semilac nail polish remover (if applicable). Remove cuticles and shape your nails. To soften your cuticles, you can use warm water with soap or oil, or the dedicated Semilac Cuticle Remover.

Push back your cuticles and degrease your nails with a Semilac cleaner.

• Base coat application (optional): Although our research has shown that the product does not discolor the nail plate, we recommend using a conditioner as an additional protective layer – especially when regularly using intense or dark colors.

This solution will not only help maintain the natural color of the nail plate and nail condition at the highest level, but also additionally nourish the nail plate. Using this solution may affect the durability of the styling.

• Base coat application: Apply the first thin layer of polish and allow it to dry. Covering polishes from the Semilac Nail Lacquer line cover in one layer. The drying time of the polish depends on its type and layer thickness; the Semilac Nail Lacquer line has a quick-drying formula and usually takes about a few minutes.

• Applying the top coat: Apply a layer of the dedicated Semilac Gel Like top coat to secure the color, add shine, and create a gel-finish effect. Allow to dry.
