tesa 51128 Soft Strapping 66 m x 50 mm is a soft strapping tape made of unidirectionally oriented polypropylene MOPP, designed for the safe strapping and stabilization of cartons on a pallet. The special adhesive system based on natural rubber ensures a secure hold while allowing clean removal of the tape without damaging printed or labeled packaging.
Thanks to its high tensile strength and controlled elongation, the 50 mm wide tesa 51128 tape is ideal for logistics, warehousing, and e-commerce applications where cargo security and packaging aesthetics are important.
Advantages and unique features
• Soft MOPP strapping tape - adapts well to the edges of cartons and does not stiffen the packaging.
• Natural rubber-based adhesive - secure hold with low tack to steel, facilitating disassembly.
• Clean removal - the tape comes off without leaving any adhesive residue and without discoloring prints.
• High resistance to Stretching – stable load securing during transport and storage.
• 50 mm width – larger contact surface with the cardboard and better pressure distribution.
• White, neutral color – aesthetic finish and good visibility of prints under the tape.
Properties and applications
• Pallet securing: strapping printed or labeled cardboard boxes without the risk of damage.
• Cargo stabilization: additional strapping of collective packaging and logistic units with a wide 50 mm tape.
• Marking and temporary fastening: short-term closing of boxes, bundling of packages, possibility of describing the load on the tape.
• Internal transport: securing shipments between warehouses, production and picking departments.
• Premium brand logistics: protection of packaging with marketing print, where clean tape removal is crucial.
