Melkib MMA Power 10 50 ml 2K methacrylate adhesive for structural joints
Melkib MMA Power 10 50 ml is a two-component methacrylate adhesive with a 1:1 mixing ratio, designed for creating very strong structural joints. The product is intended for bonding metals, selected plastics, and composite materials, especially when a strong bond and longer positioning time are required.
This makes it suitable for applications where components require slower positioning than the faster Power 3 variant. The 50 ml packaging is practical for testing, service, repairs, and smaller assembly applications.
The adhesive comes with 3 mixing nozzles / static mixers. Application requires an appropriate dispensing gun for two-component 1:1 cartridges.
The video shows work with Melkib MMA Power methacrylate adhesive and can help assess the application method, preparation of components, and the nature of the connection. It is worth watching the material before using the product for the first time, especially during tests, repairs, and implementations in the assembly process.
Applications of Melkib MMA Power 10 50 ml
The adhesive is intended for construction and assembly connections in service, maintenance, production, repairs, and application tests. It can be used to bond metal, steel, aluminum, selected plastics, and composites.
Melkib MMA Power 10 50 ml is suitable for applications where high mechanical resistance, good adhesion to various substrates, and the ability to position elements for a longer working time are important.
It is a good choice for technological tests, emergency repairs, assembly work, and applications where a larger 400 ml cartridge is not needed.
What distinguishes Melkib MMA Power 10
Longer processing time
Wide adhesion range
The adhesive is suitable for many metals, selected plastics, and composites. It can be used without a primer, but surfaces must be properly cleaned and prepared according to recommendations.
High mechanical resistance
This makes it suitable for use in structural and assembly joints requiring a durable bond.
Convenient for testing and repairs
The 50 ml packaging is practical for smaller applications, technological tests, service work, and repairs. The set includes 3 mixing nozzles/static mixers, making it easy to get started with the product.
When to choose Melkib MMA Power 10 50 ml
Choose this variant when you need a strong 2K structural adhesive, but the application requires a longer positioning time than with fast adhesives with short processing times.
If you want to establish the bond faster, Melkib MMA Power 3 may be a better choice. If you need a larger amount of glue for repeated application, it is worth considering the Melkib MMA Power 10 400 ml variant.
Material Group | Recommended Substrates
Metals | Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Structural Steel, Powder-Coated Metals, Galvanized Metals
Plastics | Acrylates, Styrene, ABS, PVC / CPVC, Polyamide / Nylon
Composites | Vinyl Ester, Carbon Fiber, DCPD-Modified Polyester, Urethanes, GRP / FRP
Materials Not Recommended | PE, PP, PTFE, polyacetal
For difficult-to-bond materials, it is recommended to perform a test on actual components.
How to use
The optimal application temperature is between +18°C and +25°C. Higher or lower temperatures affect the application time.
Before use, check that the cartridge is properly seated in the dispensing gun and the mixing nozzle/static mixer is correctly mounted on the cartridge. Before applying the adhesive, squeeze an initial portion of the product through the mixing nozzle to ensure complete mixing of both components.
The components must be joined during adhesive processing.

To obtain optimal bonding properties, surface cleaning is necessary. The preparation method should be selected according to the type of materials being bonded and the surface condition.
Store at a temperature between +2°C and +15°C. The shelf life is 9 months in the closed, original packaging. Higher storage temperatures significantly shorten the shelf life and may damage the packaging. The storage temperature must not fall below +2°C.
Safety and Technical Information
Before using this product, please read the current Safety Data Sheet (SDS). This product is intended for professional and experienced users. The user is responsible for selecting appropriate safety precautions, preparing the surface, performing testing, and assessing the product's suitability for a specific application.
What is the difference between Melkib MMA Power 10 and Melkib MMA Power 3?
Melkib MMA Power 10 has a longer processing time of 10-20 minutes, making it better suited for applications requiring a more relaxed setting of components. Melkib MMA Power 3 is a faster variant for applications where components can be set and stabilized in a shorter time.
When to choose the 50 ml package?
The 50 ml package is recommended for testing, repairs, service work, and smaller applications. This is a practical option when a limited amount of adhesive is needed but application from a two-component cartridge is required.
Are mixing nozzles included?
Yes, the adhesive comes with 3 mixing nozzles/static mixers. A suitable dispensing gun for 1:1 two-component cartridges is required to apply the 50 ml variant.
Is Melkib MMA Power 10 50 ml suitable for stainless steel?
Yes, stainless steel is within the product's adhesion range. The stated tensile strength at break for this substrate is 19 N/mm².
Can this adhesive be used on plastics?
Yes, the product can be used on selected plastics such as ABS, PVC/CPVC, acrylates, styrene, and polyamide/nylon. Not recommended for PE, PP, PTFE, and polyacetal.
Does the surface require a primer?
