Selection and Limitations

LOCTITE 262 is primarily intended for metal threaded connections. The manufacturer does not recommend its use in systems with pure or oxygen-rich oxygen, or in systems containing chlorine or other strongly oxidizing materials.

The product is also not generally recommended for thermoplastics susceptible to stress cracking.
