Kata Kata is a unit consisting of two stencil dyeing artists, Takeshi Matsunaga and Chie Takai. They use katazome, a traditional Japanese dyeing method, to dye fabrics and paper, creating items such as tenugui (hand towels) and postcards. Many processes, from design to dyeing, are done by hand, resulting in a style characterized by the warmth of handcrafted work.
The Furoshiki Snap-in allows you to easily create a furoshiki bag by simply threading the four corners of the furoshiki through the snap and tying it. It has a magnet, so you can securely close the opening. Its ease of use makes it very popular not only in Japan but also overseas, and since it comes as a set with a furoshiki, it's also recommended as a gift.
