G-nius project GRAVIUS 2023 (Right Handle / Gear Ratio 7.3)

❶ Magnetic Brake System: Despite being a magnetic brake, it offers a feeling similar to a centrifugal brake. It features our patented "Vibration-Free Magnetic Brake System," which I have been committed to developing. The braking power is proportional to the spool's rotation speed. Experience a one-of-a-kind casting feel.

❷ Line Memory: A feature that allows you to display the pound test of the line currently spooled by rotating the dial on the handle nut retainer.

❸ G-nius Design Handle Knob: We pursued the ideal knob shape, allowing you to handle everything from finesse worming to power cranking with a single knob shape.

❹ Duralumin Handle Frame: We intentionally chose metal over carbon handles. Specifically, the area where the handle knob shaft attaches to the handle frame is recessed to prevent the line from snagging during trouble. The handle length is 90mm from center to center of the knobs.

❺ Long Nose Level Winder: Inheriting the design of my "WELDACT" guider, which has been highly acclaimed by top Japanese pros, this design reduces frictional resistance during line release.

❻ Drag: While boasting a maximum drag power of 9kg, it is also equipped with a drag click sound. Since the click sound mechanism is mounted on the main shaft, the drag starts up smoothly even when used for bait finesse—a personal preference of Aoki.

❼ One-Piece Aluminum Die-Cast Frame: To withstand heavy-duty use in places like Lake Biwa, we prioritized a strong frame over extreme weight reduction. This increased rigidity also leads to an improved reeling feel. Weight: 173g.

❽ GRAVIUS can be used for both bait finesse and heavy lures like big baits.

❾ Bearings: With use in Lake Biwa in mind, we selected stainless steel bearings capable of heavy-duty use. We learned that not only precision but also settings suited to the application are important, so we paid close attention to the clearance between the housing and the balls. This resulted in a new concept of bearings that can handle everything from heavy-duty use to bait finesse.

❿ Side Cover: The side cover is made of carbon material to achieve a balance between strength and lightness. This allows it to handle big lakes like Lake Biwa.
