The “Chronograph Challenge Timer,” [Citizen]'s first full-fledged chronograph watch, was released in 1973. It gained the nickname “Tsuno Chrono” (Horn Chrono) because the push buttons located on the 12 o’clock side of the case resembled horns. Based on the “Chronograph Challenge Timer” design, the [Citizen Collection] Record Label Tsuno Chrono now features limited edition models with popular [Star Wars] characters as design motifs. This time, the designs draw inspiration from characters appearing in [Star Wars] Episodes 1–3, incorporating details of the popular droids R2-D2 and C-3PO, the series’ quintessential dark hero, [Darth Vader], and [Darth Maul], known as a dual-bladed lightsaber wielder. In addition to the four models based on the characters, a model evoking the opening scene of [Star Wars] is also available. The case back is engraved with the [Star Wars] logo and illustrations of each character (AN3667-58E features the logo only).
