Khadas Tone1 Tone Board DAC Board Audio Board for SBC For Audiophiles and DIY DIY Sound Board Hi-Res - VIM, PC, - - HiFi, (General Purpose)

XMOS: XU208-128-QF48, 8 cores. Maximum core share of 500 MIPS. DAC Processor: ES9038Q2M, 32-bit stereo mobile audio DAC. Compatibility: Windows PC, Mac OS, Android, Linux PC, Volumio, LibreELEC, and other SBCs. XMOS USB Audio ensures a robust connection. We chose to use the XMOS XU208 microcontroller because of its stability, powerful functionality, and reliability. We believe that Toneboard will function correctly when connected to most audio sources such as computers and mobile media devices. Difference between Vims Edition and Generic Edition - VIM version connected via GPIO pins. Generic Edition does not have GPIO pins on the board. Enlarged view: One 30-pin FPC connector for 8-channel analog output expansion. Two 10-pin FPC connectors for OLED display and I2S expansion. The VIM version also includes a 40-pin female header for connecting to VIMS and a 20-pin SMT header for debugging XMOS and VIM. Ultra-low phase noise clock jitter: We use SiTime's superior, stable oscillators. The SiT820 & 8209 series have a phase jitter of only 0.5 ps and low output frequency stability of ±10 PPM. We selected them as the reference clock for our audio system to ensure data clock jitter is less than 30 ps.
