Kasyou Studio Urushi Kenkou Chopsticks Couple (Red Black Pair Dishwasher Safe) Made Japan Ishikawa Kaga Handmade Traditional Craftsmanship

Kaga Handmade Couple Chopsticks are crafted with care by artisans from Kasyou Studio, known for their tea ceremony tools. Named "Urushi Kenko Hashi" to wish for the health of customers, each chopstick has a unique expression, making them one-of-a-kind items. The tips of the chopsticks feature a silver pear skin finish, making it easy to pick up grilled fish and tofu. The base of the chopsticks is shaped like a pentagon, also known as "Gokaku Hashi," which is considered auspicious. They are recommended as gifts for weddings, golden anniversaries, silver anniversaries, and for wishing success. These chopsticks are dishwasher safe, saving time on household chores. Using the regular wash mode (85 to 90 degrees), there may be a slight decrease in shine on the natural urushi part of the tips, but there is no concern about peeling or warping. If the dishwasher has a low-temperature wash option, it is recommended. Presented in a decorative box reminiscent of the night sky, the "Urushi Kenko Hashi" utilizes traditional Kaga maki-e techniques in everyday life, growing more cherished with use. They are often chosen as gifts for couples or for anniversaries.
