PrimePore is a modern ceramic filter material with a unique structure. PrimePore is shaped like spheres with an interior void. This unique structure provides highly effective anaerobic zones. The structure and porous structure of PrimePore creates ideal conditions for the growth of beneficial bacteria.
Thanks to the countless pores of various sizes, aerobic and anaerobic zones are created. This enables, among other things, nitrification and denitrification processes. PrimePore has pores measuring 40-50 um, which are biologically effective, meaning they are large enough for bacteria to colonize.
The bacteria growing on the surface and inside PrimePore break down undesirable substances and purify the water of, among other things, ammonia (NH4), nitrites (NO2), and nitrates (NO3). PrimePore has a spherical shape with a diameter of approximately 10-12 mm.
Advantages of PrimePore
1. Provides ideal conditions for the development of beneficial bacterial flora.
2. Significantly improves water properties.
3. Contributes to better plant growth and the development of living organisms.
4. Neutral to water parameters.
5. Removes turbidity.
6. Huge filtration surface of 520 m2/ liter containing biologically useful pores with a size of 40-50 um.
7. Recommended for small and large filters.
How to use
PrimePore should be rinsed before use. The ceramic media must be placed in the filter baskets behind the mechanical cleaning media. It is best to use approximately 1 liter of media for every 100 liters of water. The ceramic media is rinseable and reusable.
ATTENTION! Never clean or replace the entire PrimePore media in one operation. If necessary, replace 30-50% at a time. Never clean too rigorously (the beneficial bacteria cultures must not be completely destroyed); in most cases, a simple rinse in water drained from the tank every few weeks is sufficient.
Do not use for breeding plants or animals intended for consumption or food processing. This product is intended for aquariums with fish and ornamental plants. Keep out of reach of children. Product batches may vary in color and shade.
