The space-saving skimmer from the OCTO series Regal space-saving (Regal-S) is a protein skimmer ideal for aquariums with limited sump space. The Regal-S also features a high-quality die-cast acrylic housing, easy disassembly for maintenance, a precision gate valve, and a hybrid conical body that helps naturally stabilize and concentrate the organic-rich foam as it rises.
Available in 4 models - Regal 150-S, Regal 200-S, Regal 250-S, and Regal 300-S.
Furthermore, the Regal-S is powered by our proprietary VarioS controllable skimmer pump, which incorporates a rotor impeller, a detachable controller, a high-quality ceramic shaft and bearing to reduce wear, and the latest variable speed flow technology for improved control, improved performance, energy efficiency, and safer operations.
Unlike the vast majority of circulation pumps that use alternating current (AC), our VarioS pump has several key advantages over traditional AC pumps, namely higher energy efficiency, safer operation with a 24V operating voltage and, above all, variable speed control to match the ideal mix of air and water flow to the skimmer.
With the VarioS controller, users have control over the flow rate by choosing from five pre-set speeds; indicated by five lit LEDs. The 15 or 60 minute delivery mode can also be turned on or off with the touch of a button.
Furthermore, the rotating spiral allows users to adjust the output orientation horizontally or vertically (up or down), depending on their needs.
With normal use, the VarioS pump has an expected lifespan/product lifespan of 10 years.
