Effectively clarifies water and removes all species of algae in a garden pond.
Even in a properly designed and maintained pond, undesirable situations arise from time to time. Pond water can quickly lose clarity, one of the reasons being organic and mineral suspensions entering the water from both the outside and from floating bottom sediments.
AQUACLAR pond PLUS, an excellent product from ZOOLEK, is used to combat these issues. It clarifies cloudy water by coagulating, precipitating organic or mineral suspensions into the bottom sediment. Live algae, together with the coagulant, form a dense film that floats on the water surface, which can be easily removed mechanically.
AQUACLAR pond PLUS removes phosphates from the water, which originate from the decomposition of organic waste substances, which, along with nitrates, can cause rapid algae growth. It also binds hydrogen sulfide, which causes unpleasant water odors.
• Add 50 ml of the preparation for every 1000 liters of water. Immediately before use, dilute the preparation 100-fold with water and spread evenly over the entire surface of the tank.
• While the preparation is working, thoroughly aerate the water, e.g., using a fountain or an air pump.
• Within a few hours, the algae will die off, and the water will regain clarity. Any clumps of debris floating on the water surface should be removed mechanically.
• The next day, remove sediments and dead algae, and replace some of the water with fresh water.
• After a few days, the preparation can be reapplied at half the dose.
• To maintain the achieved effect, it is recommended to periodically check the basic water parameters, in particular the level of nitrates and phosphates, the excessive amounts of which promote the uncontrolled growth of algae.
